The male MC does not, I think he's one of the most believeable and likeable personalities in the book. Unfortunately, the POV MC has many of these traits as well. Their behaviors are often out of no where, baffling, and off-putting. The side characters have to stretch on one axis to become two dimensional, no hope for three. Nearly every character would be shown up in emotional maturity and communications competency by a third grader. The biggest con is that there is FAR too much poor behavior from too many characters. She created a character who can kill you with a corkscrew, though she doesn't really make me believe it. I appreciate the lack of explicit sex scenes when they're not necessary to move the plot forward.
